    My "Last Crusade" trading cards

At the beginning of the summer I decided to make a 3rd series of Return of the Jedi cards because the blue-bordered Series 2 cards Topps did were of such lower quality than Series 1. I enjoyed the experience of making these so much, that I decided to make some for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which Topps did not make back in 1989 for whatever reason -- a decision that still boggles my mind. I mean, it was (at the time) the final Indiana Jones movie, after all!!

Anyway, I used Topps' TOD cards as the basic template, changed the border to the same orange as the LC cards in the Heritage set and added my own little additions to finish the template off, namely the coiled whip encircling the card #, the logo in the upper corner and the use of the Indy fonts. I used primarily still photographs, as Topps would have used back then, with actual screenshots filling out the rest to make a set of 88 cards.

Anyway, here's a sampling of the results (significantly reduced to fit here)!

Nothing right now. I did backs for the ROTJ cards I made and printed out, but gluing them together has been a pain in the butt, one that I don't really relish repeating again if I can help it! However, I wasn't planning to print these LC cards out anyway, so if anything I might make backs at some point but just keep them digital -- making the ROTJ backs was actually one of the fun parts of the process.

Glad everyone likes them. I'm quite pleased how they turned out.
