Yes, Raiders, also by the pinch of the hat.
What is nice about Fullers Earth, and like products, is that your hat can look very lived in without actually being worn out, as my Fed III is close to becoming.
Here in the NYC metro area you can't walk down the street without tripping over a place that sells burgers. My list of great burger places would be a mile long.
Looks great, HJJ - lived in but not overdone.
I love the shape of your hat. Accuracy is nice, but overall the shape and how an individual hat looks on an individual head is what is more important to me.

HJJ, It's a local day camp on Long Island.
Jeff, that's a good question. I use a piece of narrow, high strength climbing rope, loop a slip knot over it, and then just tie it onto my belt at the...
NB, yeah, I've been doing those rolls for years. Comes in handy in a motorbike get-off. =o\
HJJ, yes, it was fun. There was a lot of mental preparation, as well as physical rehearsal. I found...
Hey, guys.
After two postponements due to bad weather, we finally did our little Olympic/Color War show today. The whole show went great because of the intense preparation, and my little IJ idol...
Excellent point, Mac. Health care and health insurance are two different animals.
Universal healthcare is a good thing. But the way it is being done here is a travesty. Half-truths and complete lies. My god, lay it all out and let everyone know what is involved instead of lying...
Yeah, the hat always stays on! :)
The whole show will be videoed, and hopefully I can edit out everything except my part of it which consists of the idol approach, study, sand bag, stance, grab,...
Here's the test run.

This was the 3rd, and best of the three, videoed attempt.
An 8' beach ball has no momentum so when it reaches...
Now I know where the expression 'happy as a clam' comes from.

She's a cutie.
Once we get the ball, we're gonna do a test run down the hill. I need to see how fast this 8' ball moves. Hopefully I can have someone VT that exercise.
Occasionally, I have read about forum members, here and elsewhere, who have had a chance to act out, in real public life, an Indiana Jones scenario. I am thrilled that I will be doing one of these...
Not all of them hold up, but some of my favorites at their times were:
Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In
The Monkees
Baretta
Starsky and Hutch
Hill Street Blues
I Dream of Jeannie
The Addams...
Thanks, I'm happy with it.
Thank you, Henry. I used Pecard Leather Cream. It comes in a plastic can that's a little larger than a large coffee mug.
In person, the imperfections that I can see in the picture are...

See your local cable guide for details.
So, it only took me 5 months to do this, but here it is.

The lighting is different, but you can see the relative...
I think the reason for this is that you're putting a regular oval hat on a long oval head, causing brim distortion. The brim will most likely go back to the way it was as you wear it.
One thing about these hats (and fedoras in general) is that they tend to react to them selves as well as the head they are perched on.
I have found that if I want a deep dent I have to be willing...
