In the top photo, is that a Romanian blouse? If you show photos of the front I may be able to source them. Real hand embroidered shirts like that are pricey.

Raider S, I'll take some close up pictures of the front, if that helps. ;)

Nice work putting all those together Canyon.

Did you make some of the costumes from scratch?

RCSignals, many thanks for the kind words. ;)

I wish that I knew how to make the clothes, but thanks anyway. ;)

No, I had the Marion blouse made from a guy in Romania, and I got the red harem pants some years ago from a belldancing store online. The espradille shoes were picked up from a cheap shoe store a few years ago. ;) The Marion dress was from E-Bay, the Willie Scott outfit was a pair of black smart pants that I had, a man's dress shirt wrapped around, a pair of silver evening shoes and a blonde wig. :D The thuggee outfit was made from bits and pieces from my wardrobe and Chewie helped me to modify the outfit and make it look even more spectacular! ;D As for the professor Jones and Pankot Palace, me and Chewie found that jacket in the Salvation Army, and I had the arms taken up. The bow tie is from Magnoli, which was a birthday present from Chewie and the rest is Noel Howard gear. ;)

These are really impressive. I've thought of trying to put a Marion outfit for my wife. Or go the Willie Scott route and dress my daughter up as Short Round (as I don't think the Mrs. will go for me dressing my daughter up as the monkey to go with Marion! ;)).

Yes, very nice job, Canyon. You are really creative with getting all the stuff needed together, and it looks like it all belongs together, not like it's cobbled together.

I don't think the Mrs. will go for me dressing my daughter up as the monkey to go with Marion! ;)).

But, depending on her age and what "phase" she's going through, your daughter might prefer to be the monkey! :D

(It seems every girl I knew growing up liked pretending to be a monkey at one point or another.)

Let me tell you, at age 4, she does a darn good monkey impression!
