I just picked this up a couple of days ago. We're having an "A"-themed costume party and as the Amish costume didn't pan out due to a lack of locally available gear, I decided to go the Archaeologist route. As I don't really collect Indy's gear for anything other than practical use, and don't own a whip, I figured I at least needed a holster and some pants. The pants I picked up for $6. And just down the street I picked up a very nice AIF-issue WW1 holster. The only thing un-SA is of course the leather flap thingy. But I think it's much better 'cos it's the real deal.

Very nice holster. Treat it with some leather conditioner.
Looks like it would clean up and polish nicely after conditioning.

Yeah, I was going to ask that, actually. In this case, is it a dumb question to ask if I should do the raw side of the leather as well?

Depends how dry it is. If it's very stiff i would put it on both sides of the leather. Looks nice!

I slathered a metric tonne on the outside, gave it a good rub, and will hit it again in the morning. Looking a bit darker - LOTS of great character.

Very nice find. What are the pants like.

Nothing special - just a pair of 10 year old wool blend trousers. Very SA colour, but no pocket flaps and those very '90s looking front pleats.
