View Full Version : US Wings Legend in Bison

Alright! I spent alot of time selecting pictures, posting a detailed and thoughtful review, and the connection timed out and I lost it all! So, here we go again, although perhaps a bit abbreviated.

I know some of you have issues with the development and pedigree of this jacket, and all this post is about is to show it off and give a brief review. I will say this jacket completely surprised me out of the box. I expected it to be a stiff, heavy jacket, and found a very soft, light, and supple jacket! If I could liken it to anything, it would be deer or elk hide.

The construction is superb, with not a wandering stitch anywhere, reinforced at the stress points, and sunk deep into the leather. The color is uneven, much like what you see in the NZ lamb Hero jacket Wings makes. It has a heavy satin lining, antique brass sliders, and a brass zipper.

This one is a size L, and the fit is the same as my other US made Legend jackets. I know this review is short (compared to the one lost to the ether!) so I welcome any questions.

It's a very interesting (read, nice) color with reddish undertones.

I do like the color variation on the jacket and the grain is pretty nice as well. Plus, it's a nice, unusual leather to add to the collection!

Looks great. This one is US made?

Yes, it's US made by Schott. They are not offering the bison as an import.

It's great leather- it just doesn't say Indy to me though

So, now you've got a SL, Nekkid Cow, and a Bison?
That's one hell of a "Legend Collection" you got going there!!

You wear them all well!
