Here is my Surrogates jacket from Riley. No distressing but a special lining. The lining is genuine Seaforth Highlanders kilt cloth as used by the British Army.
If you like it Riley does have more.

This is from the Pattern for Bruce Willis jacket. Same leather. The leather should distress nicely on it's own.

Photos taken indoors with flash. I'll try to get more.

Beautiful, beautiful! As I've said before, as much as I love the Indy jacket, I think this is my favorite jacket to come out of Tony's shop. I've wanted one of these since it came out, but I had to go for the ToD first. I only hope that Riley gets to keep making these jackets in the long run so I can grab one someday.

And, so, that lining is from a Scottish kilt? ;) :D

Thanks Crisman

the lining is the same cloth used to make the kilts of the Seaforth Highlanders. So yes a Scottish kilt (although the cloth is new and never been made into anything but the lining of my jacket ;D ) Riley does have more, anyone interested will have to check with him for cost.

RC,

Boy, I sure HOPE that the fabric is new! I couldn't imagine walking around in fabric that's been rubbing again some Scottish Highlander's .... Well, I think you get the idea (and hopefully NOT a picture running through your mind! ???)

Take care and perhaps you can help Ford woo Connery back into a cameo for the next film by having Riley make an indy jacket with this lining inside. What better gear to get him than something that, from the outside in, represents who he is (Indy jacket = Jr.'s dad; Scottish lining = Scottish born and raised citizen) ;)

Again, a VERY NICE jacket.

LOL

The cloth is sturdy enough to be the outside layer of a jacket too....Connery might like that :D

I have one in that leather as well and I love it. I got one in 747 as well and both leather make a great Surrogates. Love the lining. Riley and Co do great work.

Awesome jacket RC. I thought that the original leather was the 747. Could you make a comparison of both?

I don't own a 747 jacket jacket but have seen 747. The main difference is the colour.

Han can give a better description

Awesome jacket, it doesn't get much better than that, I love the leather color and the particular plaid! :P

Yes they did a great job making the jacket look vintage. But that's what Hollywod does best.

(BTW something is wrong with your photo link)

RC how long is your jacket in the front and back? I'm just trying to get an idea for my measurements. Thanks

Are you ordering a Surrogates jacket? You will love it.

This one is 24" front and 27" back. It is the same size as Bruce Willis's jacket.

Yeah I had planned on ordering it along with this next raiders jacket. I sent the email with all the info a couple weeks ago. Im just waiting to hear back from Riley. If you dont mind me asking, how tall are you? Im 6'3" and trying to decide how long this should be. 24" and 27" sounds about right. Maybe 25... Thanks for the fast response

I'm 6', 6'1. Those measurements will probably be OK for you but it will depend on the length of your torso. the Surrogates is longer than an I-J jacket but not too much longer.
