I am talking about the so called "80s fit"
Who started this? Chris King?

Needless to say, there was no such thing in the 80s. Everything was baggy in the 80s. It was in the 70s that clothes had a slim fit.

I wonder who and how he got the idea that Raiders jacket was a slim fit??? It's Crazy...
Led many of us (ignorant back then) to run and buy non accurate jackets.

The only jacket that could be less baggy than the rest, is the Bantu Wind jacket And I am judging only from the photo next to the ship. Looks like slim fit there....

80's fit was another attempt of Wested to satisfy costumers, on their requests...
I think the Bantu is also baggy on the upper area (just like the other jackets), but somehow slimmer on the waist, isn't?
If I'm correct, we can see the "Bantu" jacket on Terry's back during the footage of the truck chase (Bonus DVD)

80's fit means the jacket fit he made in the 80's not 'generic 80's'.

The term is to separate from the easier to wear looser cut he was selling because... ahem, certain folk need a bit more room...

In any case the film jacket was not slim fit, so it's still a deceipt.
