Just wondering why there's not much talk of this guy, he states he made the ToD hat as well as re-blocking of the CS Adventurebilt Hat to Pollack's specifications?

Well they claim hard evidence, records, of their involvement in Temple of doom hats. It would be interesting to see this, although we probably never will have that access.
I'd also like to know more about this from Baron hats in reference to Crystal Skull Indy hats
. The Fedoras were indeed made by a hat making company in the South. However, the confusion may lie in the fact that good friend and client, the famous Costume Designer Bernie Pollack (who was the Costumer Designer on “Indy 4”), did bring the completed Fedora’s to our shop the weekend before production to have us do some “tweaking” and “re-blocking” per his notes and supervision. We did this as a favor to Mr. Pollock, and out of our deep respect for his talent and reputation.
I wonder what this re-blocking entailed and how their block changed the hat

Their story has changed several times then...This is just the newest iteration of it.....I suspect that the truth is missing entirely still, although Baron being the local Hollywood hat company has meant that they're easier to use than sending hats elsewhere, if the thing needing doing is small and easy...I suspect, if there is any truth at all in the above statement, it's closer to the "tweaking" than the "reblocking" part.....The block, if it WAS changed, is still remarkably similar to those being used now by the Adventurebilt crew and John.....So.....What reblocking there was? Was obviously so minute it doesn't show...Not a high credit to Baron really....As for the tweaking, again, I can't see what they've done to the model to change it? The band? Not at all...The inner lining? Steve left the logo off so, not that either.....Bit baffling really...And again, nothing one can spot on the screen.......
They originally claimed they made several of the hats for the film.....And have claimed (still claim?) the same for Temple of Doom.....Which has allowed them to sell their hats for upwards of 800 dollars....When I first saw the site, I think they had several hats being sold at over 1000 dollars, with incremental payments possible....Insane prices for what, as far as I could see, was a hugely "meh" hat....Nothing special about it at all....
Incidentally, Baron has recently changed ownership, and I'm told the original owner was a decent man, not entirely beyond a truth stretch, but not based on it, since they had other hats and claims that were legit to run with.....The new owner isn't as respectable...From what I've heard....
I suspect the site uses a fair bit of "filler" to promote itself....

Yes...mmm, I don't want to ruffle any feathers but there involvement with the re-blocking of the CS hat is quite a serious claim. If this is remotely true then that means they (Baron Hats) are then mildly responsible for the CS Fedora look?
From what I understand the blocking is quite an integral part of creating the 'look'? Perhaps the hero hat/s for CS was left unaltered by the vendors and perhaps a few extra stunt hats went through the Baron Hats re-blocking, here's speculating as always. :/
