Louisianna James, great find! Is it just me or is the felt pretty thin on that Christy's? Really reminds me of the Cury felt used for the Raiders hat.

Thanks indydude18 ;D the felt is so soft, thin, color accurate, super floppy and smooth compared to the modern HJ poet or Christy Adventurer which is stiff, a little bit rough, dull color(not too accurate), and thick.

Thanks Henry Jones Jr ;D , we almost have the same hat, but different head size though and, my head size is 60 cm, and yours is 58 cm.

You sure have a whole lotta cool hats! Did you replace the ribbon, or did you have it replaced, or did it come that way?

Thanks bro, I actually replaced it myself, with the 1.5 inch dark brown grosgrain and I placed it on the 1966 christys sable body, the original ribbon is really narrow and light brown. I always love the color of this sable, its more warmer than the newest sable hat bodies today. While i was sewing the ribbon on, i was watching 1996 American Buffalo starring Dustin Hoffman Indy_popcorn
