Greetings all. I have been an Indygear collector since Raiders and was around COW and its origin sites since its infancy. I had always heard mention of this site but never really looked around it until recently and ,WOW, you guys have some really neat stuff around here. It is because of this site that I jumped on the Kelso Jacket and am expecting mine soon. I have been wanting to write but haven`t had a good segue as I have not yet recieved this Kelso jacket so I thought I would throw up some of my recent stuff like this Nowak raiders in Goatskin.

and, just for jolly, here is a shot of my many years old AB that my daughter snapped of me recently. I liked that it was a good precise side shot.

I am waiting on the edge for this new jacket to come in and will definitely give it a thorough review. Keep up the good work.

Jacket looks great. Goatskin is a great leather. Sometimes I think it makes a better looking Raiders jacket than lambskin. Just something about the way it drapes.

Welcome to "Fortune and Glory". Hope your visits here are thoughtprovoking, entertaining, informative, and, most of all, fun. :toast:

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your TNO "Raiders" in goatskin. GREAT looking jacket. Diggin' that goatskin leather. :goodjob: Can never get enough of a TNO "Indiana Jones" styled jacket.

Hope you will post pictures of your Bill Kelso MFG "Relic Hunter". Anxious to see that jacket on members here.

This goatskin you have is something very special. There's probably not too many out there and Tony gave it his name. Nowak Goatskin. By appearance it looks like it has some of the characteristics of shrunken lamb and/or much of the character of the film jacket. It drapes nice. It's pretty soft. But has the toughness of goat. I really like this leather for an Indy jacket because really lambskin isn't going to last as a real world adventure jacket. This way you get both. Nice jacket!

Beautiful jacket Mr. F!

The grain in the pictures (and NB's description of it) reminds me a lot of Wested's new soft goat.

Very nice, i think goat is a great hide for an indy jacket. I have a GB in goat and it has nice grain also.

I do have to say that after the Imax experience, this thing, although a very nice tank of a jacket and a great pattern, looks nothing like what I saw on screen skin wise. Way too stiff and grainy......looks great in still shots but doesn`t move at all like thin Lambskin!

Agreed. It's a thin and relatively smooth jacket we see in the IMAX version
