I picked up a copy of the read-along cassette recently along with the little book that goes with it. The book has a couple of pictures that I wasn't aware of having seen before plus the best view of the bible page ive seen.

I have this one (I think, I haven't looked at it in a bit) but mine is the classic 45. It does have some good, high quality photos.

It's sad that there must be a host of great raiders photos stashed somewhere that have never seen the light of day. Official Pix published a few different ones a few years back didn't they? But they no longer sell Indy pictures and the 'making of' book wasn't long enough to include that many new pictures. It's a bummer!

You're telling me! I never got around to purchasing the Official Pix Raiders pictures but did snag an Official Pix of Ford in Indy 4 which has become one of my favorite pictures of Indy as well as being the picture that helped aid me in my gear research considerably when I first started.

I'm more of a newbie than most of you, so the "Making of" book was a goldmine for me as I had never seen most of those pictures before until then and it's been a BIG help to me in researching.

I had never seen the Raiders read-along book but in a school that I subbed in, they had the Last Crusade Read-Along with the cassette book. I never had the guts to "ask" if the school would be interested in selling it, but it had pictures from the film I had never seen -even in the film itself! Plus, it showed some really nice color-accurate pictures of the trousers that matched the color of the MBA trousers so I finally had proof that the MBA's were the correct color for LC after all.

To a 5 year old it's just Indy.... to us gear-heads it's a solid gold book as far as value for research goes.
