Oh, and here's a picture I took of the stuff that I bought on the day that Indy IV came out! :D

Wow, Canyon - nice!! I'm not big on the figures and such (no offense to anyone who is) but I LOVVVE books! You're collection has me drooling all over my keyboard. I have one of the Indy comics I got as a gift way back but I was thinking of going to my local comic shop and buying all the ones they had up. They charge a lot for those, though! They aren't even worth that much on the comic market but this shop squeezes every penny out of them. I'm going to look around and see if I can find them any cheaper elsewhere or online.

Was it hard to find those Indy comics in England? Or did you get yours online?

Crikey Canyon, great collection!
Some of the illustrations on the Dark Horse comic covers look interesting.

I'm afraid that the lady won't be expanding her holdings by much. I think I have, like, 2 magazines she doesn't have. And about a 1/20 of the collection she has presented. I'm shameful. :'(

Indyclone, I have to take pics of the rest of the stuff which may take a while. :D

Dr. Jones, thank you so much. As for the comics, I managed to get all of the Dark Horse ones here in England, and was lucky enough to get them when they came out. ;) I have managed to get hold of some more Marvel Further Adventures of... comics here in England, but ordered several from the States and used this site, who were very good. ;D http://www.mycomicshop.com/
In fact, they were that good, that I even rang them up from the UK to tell them so, which they were most pleased with. It must have been the English accent. :D

Out of curiousity, which comic book do you have?

Thanks. Yes, the covers are really something, and some of the drawings inside are awesome as well. ;)

Yes, honey, you are. But we'll let you off, seeing as you are such a big Star Wars fan. ;D

Canyon, I didn't mention it because it's nothing special at all :-[ , but I'll tell you of course. It's the Marvel Indiana Jones issue where Indy goes into a mine where this Ali Ayoob (?) character is searching for the Lucifer Chamber and the Philosopher's Stone. He finds the chamber and an occult force takes him over and brings down the mine just as Indy, Marcus and Marion get out. Pretty cool story though I need the rest of it to get the whole overarching plot as to what took him to that little mining town. Something about clearing Marcus Brody's name of something he was wrongly accused of and lost his position I think.

It's okay. I'm always curious about that sort of thing. ;)

That sounds like one of the Marvel comics that I don't have. The site I mentioned earlier should be able to hook you up with the rest. ;D

COngrats to the collection. Esp. the comics are interesting. If you ever want to get a Berman happy, just send the Indiana Jones and the Shrine of the Sea Devil ;D. It's the only one of the Dark Horse's I am missing in my collection. I got my comics all later to much higher prices I think. Most in complete series for around $ 15-25. But then, I saw lately that some of them are sold in the 'bay for more than $ 60 ???
So maybe I wasn't very "unlucky" with mine.

Awesome collection! Like Dr. Jones, I'm a sucker for books and your collection is truly amazing! I've got several of the Marvel issues myself (need to start tracking the others down for the set--I've got most of them up to around 12 or so--didn't they run until about issue 36?).

Dr. Jones, the evil auction site is pretty good for these (you can even get whole sets very reasonable) or places like Mile High Comics.

faststreetsofhongkong, Berman and Crismans, thank you so much, and glad that you like the collection. ;)

Berman, you can get Shrine of the Sea Devil comic here for two bucks and fifty cents! http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=135121

And they are a great comic shop, as I have mentioned earlier, so good in fact, that I called them up, from England and they were quite impressed. ;D
