my TOD-ish moded Christy's...

So as some of you know I had Gunslinger's awesome ROLA now and was looking to mod my Christy's a little to get something more like an LC look out of it... Well thanks to trying some suggestions from members I went with steaming the top of the crown while boiling spaghetti for dinner a couple times, and I think it turned out alright...at least for a ToD look however moreso than LC possibly.

I think you stole that jacket right off Harrison's back, theman. I'm calling Spielberg to report you. ;D

That hat is pretty darn spot-on too! So you purposefully shrunk the crown up to get a TOD look, huh? I guess that's one way to do it! Very nice theman. I'm not a TOD fan at all, but this has even me drooling.

I was originally going to try for an LC, but then I got this Nowak ToD and went in that direction... So yeah, pretty much just steamed the crown a bit and reworked the pinch/bash.

Looks like a good approximation of the TOD. How long did you steam the hat? I've heard horror stories of how Christy's will shrink to thimble size from a little steam.

I've got one but it's never seen much weather, let alone steam.

Pretty Sweet. Great look. Pretty amazing really. Between you and The Last Crusader........well it's tough to compete. In looking at the comparison photo of HF it strikes me that the upper arms look a bit looser than other images I see of him wearing the jacket in TOD. Curious.
