Who donated the Last Crusade jacket to the Smithsonian?

I've read it was Lucas Film, a jacket separate of the one reportedly kept by Harrison Ford,
I've also read this:

"Harrison Ford is making sure that generations to come will always remember 'Indiana Jones'. The actor recently donated his classic Stetson hat and battered leather jacket to the Smithsonian Institute."
- E! Entertainment Television

Then there was a claim the jacket was taken back from the Smithsonian

Can anyone verify any of this?

The last thing I heard is that it was rotated out of the display area when they renovated but they still own it/have it. However they may have sold it by now.
