Hope you guys enjoy. ;D BTW, my first hat was the Akubra which I got back in 2003, and which I still have. :)

It is a wonderful hat, as are your photos.

Did it come pierced on the sweat band or did you have it done? I've seen old hats pierced with a name in that way.

Always good to see Steves work and your photos doll. One of my hats from Steve has a stamp like this on mine but mine is just JWP. I like that you got CANYON spelled out like that. I think his vintage tool that makes these wholes broke and it would be very hard to repair or replace it. They aren't cheap and are very hard to find.

Steve's work is top notch as always. I was late to the party on Steve's hats (after CS), but I've got one on order. Can't wait to see it.

Wow, nice hat and craftmanship! 8)
So far I have seen only one of Steve's hats in live and it was an impressive hat. But it's "Marc-Country" here and most fans with higher priced hats in Germany have the ABD (I too, will make pics and show them asap), so we don't can see often those from the "other side of the ocean".

P.s. Out of curiosity, have you ever looked beneath the sweatband? Marc signs them personally there with a marking when it was made and for whom and I just would like (maybe also see) if Steve does the same with his hats. Cool thing to have it personalized and even in decades someone can see who made it. 8)

Yes steve signs his sweatband most of the time, not all but two of my three have it signed on the inside. Funny story about marc signing the sweatband. I was the first person he did that for. I asked him to sign inside of the sweat and he didn't want to do it but then said ok. He put in masking tape and then signed the masking tape. He did want to mark up the sweatband. I asked him to do this based off of steve sighing my hats.

No, there is no signature I'm afraid, but if I ever meet Steve, I'll be sure to ask for his autograph. :D

Congratulations,

I am sure that Steve's hats are from high quality and a great craftmanship.
I like the story about steve, marc and about adventurebilt. What a great deal making some hats for Harrison in so much sleepless nights, allways working on the hat :P

Nice hat! I'd love to acquire one but the $650 pricing for one is much too steep at this point in my life. I own two hats (redone stetsons) that I spent $300 for both on but am afraid I might have to cut that short. Times are tough economically, much less when you can't find a job in the career you went to college for! :(

Raiders FP & Deadseascrolls, thank you so much! ;)

Steve's work is outstanding! ;D

In fact, let me tell you a short story that I have told several people, and it cracks me up every time. :D

I was speaking to Steve Delk on the phone, and I told him that I would be ordering an AB from him shortly. He then asked me what size I was, and I replied that I was a 58 which is a 7 1/4 and he said to me "Well, I don't come across many women with a head as big as yours". I recently told this story to John Penman, and he was in hysterics!!! http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Laughing/lol-049.gif Apparently, I sound just like him, and he tells me, if we are both ever at a summit, he'll get me to do the accent. :D

I read it and could hear you in my head and it is cracking me up. I love the way you do his southern draw.
